Angela loves her daddy

Tonight as we were getting ready for bedtime, Angela kept going over to daddy giving him hugs, she would just lock her arms around his neck and it was just turning John to mush with love. And then, while we read books, rather than sit in my lap she chose to lean against daddy and cuddle with him. But the icing on the cake was when I was nursing her and we were singing to her - she stopped nursing and went over to daddy to cuddle with him and attempt to sleep on top of him, we both just melted, it was one of the sweetest daddy/Angela moments to date.

Adventures in... Potty Training!?

Grandma bought Angela a little pink potty for her first birthday. I think it's called the Princess Potty ... it plays "royal tunes" if you "go" to the potty. Today I put her on it for the first time when I suspected she had to go (#2)... and within 15 seconds, she peed! Later in they day I tried again - same thing! And then while I was out at my Pilates class, John put her on before her bath - three times the charm!  I'm not sure what will lead from this, but we are definitely surprised.
