2nd trimester starts..... NOW!

Yesterday marked the last day of my first trimester, yay! My body celebrated by rejecting every form of liquid & food that I tried to digest on Monday & yesterday. I thought perhaps on Monday that it was caused by a nasty headache that I had, however on Tuesday the headache was gone, but by the afternoon I realized the vomiting was still in full swing. I did end up talking to the physician on call and he gave me a small prescription for Zofran to ease the nausea & vomiting. It was very likely that I was becoming dehydrated and that if I didn't do something about it I would have to go to the ER and get fluids put in me through an IV, and that was not of interest to me unless it was absolutely necessary. Luckily last night the Zofran worked & I ate a few bites of food & was able to get some fluids in me.
